About Me
Hello! I'm Shirley Waisman.
I'm a children's book illustrator and writer based in Israel.
I've illustrated over 90 picture books for publishers around the world,
and recently wrote and illustrated one of my own.
I love creating stories with heart, humor,
and just enough weirdness to keep things interesting.
My biggest dream?
To make books that kids wants to read again (and again... and again...)
I live with my husband, three teenage boys, my 97 year old father,
and Sofi, loyal, barky, and my feminist co-leader.
